Upon graduating she studied at the Stella Adler and T. Schreiber Studios in NYC. For three years she was part of a Brooklyn-based traveling theatre troupe that performed a short dramatic play, One Hour 2 Live, for middle and high schools affected by gang violence throughout NY and NJ. Having been a teacher of “the little ones” in the New York City Public School system for over 20 years, Denise feels fortunate to now have another opportunity to act in a play written by her pal Andrea.
